NECIT’S accession to a full member of SAFed signifies our dedication to furthering our expertise and commitment to ensuring safety and compliance across various industry sectors.
SAFed is a crucial resource for individuals and organisations involved in establishing, maintaining, or complying with standards for equipment inspection and safety standards in the workplace. Through SAFed, members gain access to invaluable advice, guidance, information, and experience.
SAFed full members are accredited by UKAS to ISO17020, the international standard for Inspection Bodies, which specifies the requirements for the expertise of performing inspection and for the impartiality and consistency of their inspection activities.
NECIT Services Ltd achieved United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) accreditation for our Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) services last year, raising our existing ISO 17020 certification as a Type A Independent Inspection Body for Weld Procedure Certification and ISO 17024 Personnel Certification Body for Welder Qualification Certification.
Plus, we are the only company in the UK accredited to conduct NDT in line with the Rail Industry standard RIS-2701-RTS.
