SWDT Elevates Engineering Education Opportunities with NECIT

NECIT Services Ltd welcomes South West Durham Training Limited as their newest Approved Examination Centre, elevating engineering education opportunities across the North East.

Becoming an NECIT-approved AEC allows training providers to conduct welder examinations in-house under NECIT’s UKAS-accredited ISO/IEC 17024 scheme. This enables the use of our standardised procedures, calibrated equipment and documentation, while maintaining full control over the training delivery process.

South West Durham Training Limited (SWDT) has been the leading provider for top quality training for local manufacturing and engineering companies across the North East, North Yorkshire, West Yorkshire, Teesside, and beyond for over 50 years.

SWDT’s collaboration with NECIT gives this training centre access to our UKAS-accredited ISO/IEC 17024 scheme for welder examinations, enabling them to use our standardised procedures, calibrated equipment and documentation while maintaining full control over the training delivery process.
